Applications
Characteristics
Basic information
Diffrar™ is an optical grade polymer wafer that enhances the next generation of AR glasses.
Diffrar™ ’s anticipated application is for optical waveguides.
We believe that Diffrar™ can contribute to improving the safety (high impact resistance) and significantly reducing the weight of AR glasses.
Diffrar™
6-inch、8-inch、12-inch
Optical characteristics
Possessing outstanding optical properties, including a high refractive index of 1.67 or higher, Diffrar™ optical polymer wafers offer wearers of AR glasses a wide Field of View (FOV).
Diffrar™ has highly advantageous properties as a wafer, for example, exceptionally smooth (surface roughness) and flat (TTV).
Physical properties
Diffrar™ is a polymer based wafer with significant impact resistance contributing to safer devices and substantially lighter when compared to glass.
Properties & Size lineup
The product lineup features wafers ranging from 6 to 12 inches in diameter, providing a variety of options for Waveguide Designers increasing their module manufacturing processes for a wide range of devices.
